About This Product

Do you want your high school students to start thinking about their future finances? Do you want a fun and engaging way to hook them on financial literacy?

This Financial Literacy: Personal Finance Risk Tolerance Questionnaire and Reflection is a great way to get students engaged in a personal financial literacy unit.

What's Included:

This 4 Page PDF includes a title page and teacher instructions.

There is a 10-question magazine style quiz that each student will complete. They will answer questions such as "You have a budget for buying your first home. What would make you spend more than you planned? a) The perfect location b) Nothing c) Fancy bathrooms and kitchen."

Then, they use the included answer key to tally up their scores and determine if they are financially conservative, moderate, or if they have a high tolerance for financial risk.

Finally, there is a page of six reflection questions. You can use these in several ways: assign them to each student, use the questions as class discussion prompts, or have students use the questions as prompts in small groups.

Grades to Use With:

This lesson is designed for high school students in Career and Personal Planning, Business or Finance classes, or Special Education or Life Skills classes. Middle school reading comprehension and a basic understanding of percent and large number place value are required.
